Quick question: Do new pedals come already Velcroed? ( Suspect something fishy )

Hi Hi.
I bought a memory toy.
At point of purchase both the cashier and me went through the pedal. And it was already velcroed.
Since he said it was brand new and it looked alright, I took his word for it.
Now that I got home, only the Blend knob was working. There was no delay coming out after the Feedback was a maximum.

I'm suspecting that I was sold a faulty used pedal since it was velcroed. I dunno. I havent bought an ehx pedal before and was my first time.
Maybe both the casier and I thouhght the same.
Anyway, I'm going to bring it back to check.

Just need to know if it's common for brand new EHX pedals to come already velcroed.

Friend bought a Memory Toy and no its not velcroed. Bought EHX pedals before as well and they too are not velcroed..

I had bought brand new ehx pedal before, and they should have rubber feet at the bottom, not velcro.

where did you buy your pedal?

No they don't come with velcro attached.

Please let us know the shop concerned with this as well.
