1) If I understand this correctly, you want a full custom set neck guitar? I don't believe this can be done locally. Malcolm has his line of Nosnuma guitars (www.mtlutherie.com), but those are Strat/Tele style guitars. You'll probably have to look overseas, to builders like McInturff, but that's going to cost you at least $3K.

2) KC at Zen Guitarwerkz. Malcolm at mtlutherie.

3) Check Ebay, its your best bet.

4) Really depends on what kind of music you play. PRS? Ibanez? The list is endless.

1) wat

2) Guitar Connection probably, or try Malcolm

3) Um..yes probably. Check Ebay or other forums.

4) There are loads of 24-fretted, reasonably priced guitars. More specific please. Also, do you even know what pedals you want?

1) NNG has set neck guitars available, but I think it would be wise to purchase a used guitar or one that can be found locally. Is there a reason why you'd need a custom guitar?

2) For those, you can contact malcolm tan.

3) Ebay is your friend here

4) Are pedals necessary for your current style of playing? I suggest buying pedals used for the time being. Start off with cheaper pedals such as BOSS and once you find your style, you can look to tailor it with more expensive ones. Also, do you need 24 frets? Will 22 or 21 frets be enough? Is this guitar linked to point number 1? I suggest looking through the buy/sell forum to get what you need. There's a lot of good set neck guitars, 22 and 24 fretters floating around locally. You'd be surprised how much cheaper it is to buy used, even for good guitar.

Btw, its gear, not gears. :) good luck and have fun.

try ebay

You can look for Francis at Guitar Workshop. You could let me know first if you're planning to make your way down. They do amazing custom jobs and setup (At least 30 yrs in the biz).

If you need info on boutique pedals, just let me know as well!

I don't think he meant custom guitars in his first question, from the "maybe gibson and stuffs like that."

Hmm, i interpreted it as a choice where he can choose his parts as compared with the custom shops that gibson and fender operate with.

i meant custom job. when i said gibson i was thinking whether can we do custom job in a gibson guitar, you know, erm, like buckethead has his own custom made gibson. yup, coz i like gibson but most of them have only 22 frets. Anyway, thanks for you guys for the suggestions!
