Hi people.
The SRV strat comes with left handed tremolo.
May i know is it possible to swap the tremolo in the above guitar into a right handed one? Let's say if buy a right handed gotoh strat replacement bridge.

Is there anything i should look out for?
Anyone got any idea how much is the gotoh strat brige?

Thanks.

I think it will be a waste to swap it with a right hand tremolo....since the left handed trem is one of the most distinctive features of an SRV strat

yes, just make sure you buy the bridge for US strat replacement, and not Japan Strat replacement. Though, you might need to check if the routing of the cavity allows this. Strat routings are not centralised.

nope u cant change it to a right hand trem ... just live with it :)
if u insist...
u can change it to right hand trem but u need 2 rout 2 enlarge the hole :)

Thanks for the replies guys. I looked at the cavity, and i think it's needed to enlarge it for a right hand bridge... sigh.

I am afraid i couldn't get use to left tremolo as i already have a FR guitar that's normal right handed bridge.

too bad u have to get use to it....
i think leave it as it is .. same spec as strat Stevie use
its beautiful... and tell story :)

Man just work on it and get used to it. It's one of the characteristics of the guitar. It's like making a Skyline rear wheel drive just cause your used to a Silvia. I have a bigger problem, I cant get used to Strats now that I'm playing Teles. Their the same bloody instrument......
