Question on palm muting

Thanks Rozario for the vid. I'm doing it right...I guess it's just my guitar or a lack of a distortion pedal or maybe I'm holding my guitar too low.

don't know about the rest, but for me i figured out palm muting all on my own by accident

i dun listen to much green day, but for those kind of blink palm mutes i find that distortion works better than overdrive

I figured by watching the vids of Green Day...but I guess Punk Rock plays with quite a bit of distortion...but I may be wrong!

a distortion pedal makes a big difference in palm muting.
theres this software. guitar fx or sumthing. plug in u'r guitar to u'r com's line in, start the software and voila. theres distortion, phaser, echo, delay, etc...
so you might wanna try it with distortion and do plam muting.
hear if theres any difference..
you can get the software online, but not free though. 30days free trial.
