Question about the Visual Sound line of Overdrive/Dist Pedals

Hi all,

I have been recently thinking of getting a visual sound overdrive. As some of us might know, the visual sound line of effects usually have 2 effects bumped into one or split as a single effect. I have listed some of the effects below.

1. Visual Sound Double Trouble
2. Visual Sound Route 808
3. Visual Sound Route 66
4. Visual Sound Jackyll & Hyde

My question is, With the dist aside. Are the overdrive modes the same on these models? I heard from some source that the overdrive modes are identical on these models. It's just a matter of the mix and match for the ones with dual effects.

Anyone have any input on this?
Thx
:D

but i thought on their website they say that the overdrive on the jackyll & hyde one is diff from the route 66 one?
that's the reason why they have the double trouble pedal right?

correct me if i'm wrong though.

I'm still kinda puzzled about the overdrives with the visual sound. I have the J&H and was thinking of getting a route808 as when i saw the review on youtube, it sounded way different from my J&H's overdrive.

any further input on this?
anyone?

While you're out there checking out which overdrive to grab, do try the DigiTech HardWire Series CM-2 Tube Overdrive. I think it sounds better than the VS stuff, which I find very... normal-ish.

Yeah, thats one of my main overdrives to get is the cm2. amazing tone. went down to swee lee yesterday but they were out of stock. kinda sad ya ...
