hi guys
im a noob with pedals and would appreciate help on this
my pedaltrain has 16 pedals which i need to power up . i dont want to use my current 1spot or similar wallwart/daisychain systems because of the single source, ground loop noise and also the pedal compatibility issues (1spot doesnt work noiseless with some of my ehx, moogerfooger, and mxr units)
im looking for a power source that can power up all the pedals quietly. im considering the voodoo labs pedal power 2 plus because of its isolated outputs. but it costs a pretty penny and id like to cover all the bases before i throw money at the problem
so...
1) regarding the pp2plus, has anyone split a single output (either the 100mA or 250mA jack) into 2 or more pedals using a chain? If yes, what pedals (and power draw) and what negative side-effects if any?
2) any alternate suggestions/friendly tips/pp2plus user feedback is most welcomed
THANK YOU!
