Question about Behringer mixers

Hi, would like to ask a very newbie question. Sorry if it is repeated or it sounds very stupid.

I have noticed some Behringer mixers have a LED at the gain knob and a clip LED below the Mute LED. May I know is there any difference between the 2?

Which mixer are you referring to in particular?

There is this "trim" LED near the gain knob and a "cliip" LED near the mute knob.

My guess would be the trim LED next to the gain knob indicates the input level pre-EQ, when the signal first comes into the board. The clip LED below the mute LED indicates if the signal running through the channel has clipped post-EQ.

Nah, not really. As long as the clip LED doesn't come on it should be fine.
