Pure Nickel Strings

Hey guys

Anyone of you have used the Ernie Ball Rock N Roll strings before? Are they available here in Singapore?

Any good pure nickel strings to recommend? Looking for warmer strings..

warmer strings? With any strings, turn down the treble on your amp, up the mids and use tone knob on guitar to fine tune...

nah, nickel strings are warm enough. but Pathein's solution is just as good.
turn down the tone knob on your guitar to about 4 or so and cut back on the volume a bit as well.

Hmm.

The ernie balls (Hybrid Slinky) I'm using are kind of midway between bright and warm, so that I'm not muddying out or causing excessive treble. Yeah I also use the tone knob on my tele... which is prone to slicing my own head off with treble frequencies.

Good nickel wound strings... hmm the Gibson strings that Swee Lee (?) and Guitar Gallery (Parklane 2nd level) bring in have a great warm tone.

Another string set you could try are the GHS burnished nickel strings which you can find at an overpriced rate at Yamaha Music Plaza (Plaza Singapura).
