May I know where I can get a PRS SE Paul Allender first-hand in Singapore, and at how much?

And uh... is it wise to purchase it from overseas (hongkong), like getting a friend to buy it for me and bringing it back?

nope.it isnt 800-850.it retails for 900 at davis.but imho,its worth the dough

Not a friend, more like uncle... I doubt he'll know what he's doing but I hope he could get it if I told him the exact model. Though there's probably other issues to be concerned for like shipping it back :/

I've just tried it recently at Davis. Price quoted was 950.
Quite good, but of course that's subjective, so try it for urself.

Anyway, unless it is so much cheaper outside of SG, I suggest you get one here. At least you get to try it and see if it really suits your style.

I think a review was done on that model by subversion, go check it out.

I'm mostly getting it as a collection

But yeah, I'll head down to Davis to try it soon enough. Gotta get myself a set of new strings anyway.
