Hey guys,
I've been using a Digitech X-series for a while, and it was fine, but recently, i have a problem. If I have everything off,my amp etc is fine, but when I hit the pedal, it distorts and everything, but if i ht teh strgins really hard, you can sort of hear the crackling of the clean sound in the background? I dont know how to explain but it seems to be not completley cutting out the cean channel...im thinking its just a batt problem, but the light is still very very bright.... :?:

hi there... u might wanna try lowering ur pickups a little...

or ur speaker cone might be cracked...

cheers... :D

dude, btw, wat amp do u use? i also sometimes get those tiny cracking sound in the clean channel after using some types of pedals. after sometime it will go away, then suddenly come back again. i suspect its the amp cause i got 2 amps at home, a peavey studio pro 60 and a marshall mg15cdr. its always the marshall that give me the problems. but if i test the same pedals on the peavey, it gave me no problems. but i also dunno wats the problem with my marshall.

Im using a Randall RG100SC 100 watt amp...I know the speaker aint crakced cause if i just use the pre-amp dist or the clean channel, i can go as loud as I want, and the thing is, i never had this problem until like recently.teh padl was working fine...

bro i dont quite get u,
can post a sound clip...i mean something like b4 u hit and after u hit the pedal..
itl may need servicing or replacement i guess.
u can test with other amps..to narrow this problem and feedback ok..?
