Problem with Peavey Amp

Hi All,

Appreciate if anyone could tell me what to do. I own a Peavey Special 212 amp for about a yr ago (bought on SOFT) This amp works great but recently, the clean channel doesn't work anymore when switched on. The other 2 channels (Lead and Ultra) works perfectly well. I'm pretty sure it's the wiring in the clean channel which broke down as all other channels and knobs works perfectly well.

What should I do?
I have no knowledge of repairing it myself, is there a shop which I can bring down for repairs?
How much would the cost be to repair?

Greatly appreciate if anyone with the slightest idea can chip in to get my beloved amp and it's clean channel to be working again.

Cheers! :)

idk why but it seems to be a classic peavey problem for me.
had this encounter with 2 peavey amps.

if i'm not wrong, it should be the amp's volume knob problem.
does it make a rattling crack crack crack sound when you turn slowly?

No, no rattling crack crack sound when turning the clean channel volume knob. Just goes dead silence.
Thing is sometimes when I first switch to clean channel when I turn on amp, it works for a while before going dead.
Othertimes, when Im playing other channels and switches to clean, it also works for a while before going dead
