problem with noise!

Hi! When i plug in my guitar to my mt-2 and den to my amp, theres no prob when the mt-2 is off. However, when i turn e mt-2 on, there's a continuous buzz. Izzit e prob with e mt-2? Im using an epiphone black beauty with a yamaha f-20

I've experienced that before... Well, sometimes is your cable/s... The input/output jack might be loose/spoil or anything that contribute to the noise...
