this is probably one of the best music ive ever heard..
i dont know if u all have heard of this band, but this band is amazingly creative, bold and has some serious music..

Not bad... but associating bands like coldplay, saosin and the likes as modern rock lame band is not nice..

This Reef band reminds of RHCP cross Jet's vocals and those 2 bands mentioned are considered modern rock lame band, then I guess it all adds up

+1. Just because you don't appreciate Saosin and Coldplay, does not mean that they are 'lame'. There are people who appreciate these bands (me included).

problem with the word 'underrated; is underrated by WHO? some bands sell very well but always slam by critics , some always get high praise but never quite reach the success they were supposed to have.........

I guess most of us have different taste.....

coldplay do indeed sounded poppish.......extreme is always cool with Nuno....

guess most of us who play guitars tend to like old school rock cause of their quality arrangement/good vocals...

one very good friend of mind, a teenager who is a fantastic self-taught drummer(very much into steve gadd, thomas lang style of playing) do complain to me about that the modern rock music has a lot of heavy guitars, but when the vocal comes out...it kinda does not match the guitars.....he is trying to say you hear NO Bruce Dickinson, NO Ian Gillain, No STeven Tyler...but the guitar riff are blaring away ...guess that the trend for the youth nowsdays..

I kinda don't really like their music. Guess I'm too used to Alter Bridge. Oops. Okay, just a personal preference.

The vocalist sounds very familiar though. I heard it somewhere before!

no,i dont think there is any problem with alter bridge..
the line-up is great..
and at least, tremonti dont put in too much 'computer' sounds in his songs,
i think he is one of the best figures in modern rock..

im glad he still retains the classic rock solos in most of his songs..
im also glad that he still uses the natural sounding tones the guitar can deliver..

and yeah, reef's guitarist remind me of john frusciante..with that unkempt long hair,that tone, that strat and that attitude..

Extreme is very much the unpolitical version of RATM! darn nice riffs and nice bassline!

this band is just as boring as coldplay and saosin.
typical classic rock revival crap, boring as hell.
not creative at all, typical pentatonic scale riff with the lead singer going on the upper range screaming bluesy melodies, very common.
they're not bad they're decent in the general scale of things, but are they amazing and creative? no not really. tons of bands out there who do what they do, and do it better.
to me they're just total crap though, so typical, but that's just what i think.
this is just going by the video you showed me though cbf to check out if they have more generic old school ripoff crap.
your english also needs some working on man.
