Primary school kids smoke at bully at public playground

Any responsible adult would have stepped in & stopped it. The photog is no better than the brats' parents who have not brought up their kids well enough in the first place. Thats the root of the problem with juveniles these days.

I say the authorities should not only give warning to the brats themselves but haul their parents off to court for being so unresponsible to their kids in the first place. Rotan the parents for their kids misdeed - then we will see hoe attitudes "can" change....

I'n glad my parents were so strict with me when I was a child which made me the man I am today.
 
Anyone read the papers yesterday about a 60+ yr old woman money changer and her worker who got slashed by some parang wielding robbers? It happened at 9am in the morning at woodlands in broad daylight with many people just standing there watching too..no one did anything about it. The robbers got away scot free, with their loot.

Anyway, I do agree that the 'stomper' could have done something about those delinquents. By all means, snap your pics, but maybe he/she could have done something about it after that?

Imo, this is Singapore. Alot of Singaporeans let things go by right under their noses without lifting a finger to help(even if it's within their abilities).

Not that I'm cristicising the Singaporeans(I'm a Singaporean too!), but when this kind of incidents happen in Singapore, only a small number of people would step up and help out. It's kind of like the Singaporean culture to walk-on-and-ignore-the-trouble/be-kaypohs-and-stand-there-looking.

Of course, the person who posted the article too might have considered the fact that their whole "gang" would come and bang, ehh, i mean wallop him or mass-body slam him.

Since the residents there say this is a common sight and it has been going on for a long time, why aren't the kids detained yet?

(At least) 12 kids isn't a small group. They look kinda random? There's this plumper girl there, I would have no idea she would actually be involved in such stuff at first impression.
 
What happened to the days where kids would play blocking catching and rounders etc?

doing such crazy acts would really bear great consequences.Maybe we can abduct them to SOFT so they can spent better rather than smoking and beating someone up for god knows why.

well.its not a singapore culture. Its a normal psychological phenomenon, the more people there are , the less likely anyone will step out to help. People will think there are so many people around, definitely one of them will do it. Well in the end everyone thinks that way, nobody or only a few would few would step out to help.

Did you read the stomp thread?! It was going on for 30 mins?! You need to take 30mins to take the shots? Can't take a few shots and rush in to help? And war is war, please.. OMG! You want the war photog to shoot the enemies with his camera?! He can't do shit but let the world knows what's going on.
These kids would have definitely stopped if some adults had gone in and stop them. 30mins is too long to take some pictures for posting and "let the society know of this issue...

wah, 10-12 yr old nia smoking alr. still want act pai kia. laughable. somemore some of them dont even look threatening. but they think they too big, wait till they meet bigger gangster, cfm all run.

if no law, i wouldn't call police... juz whack them la... they deserve more than police record nia.

solution is to bully them back, then they stop. haha.
