i saw one there 8) so far, nobody interested...

i went there on last Monday but didn't see 7V, just saw 555 WH..

The real 7vwh can be found at Swee lee @ sims drive, at least it was there 2 weeks ago. The listed price tag shown about 4.4k!

It will be good to see them transfering the 7vwh to Bras basah for the sale.

as promised, here are some stock updates. these aren't final figures, whatever's available on Friday, will be.

*RG470 (2003 model, Japanese, Edge Pro bridge) 2 more limited edition flame maple top models in stock. feel/ construction/ fit/ finish- top notch but tone is rather bland. you would change those picups anyway right? highly recommend.

*SA260FM- 3 units in store, 2Korean (pre-2006) 1Indo (2006).
the current True Duo equipped SA260 is simply superb! this one is especially well made, the other that i tried at the Sims Drive warehouse has finishing/ fitting issues but this one is an exception. default action a little too high but the onus is on you to set it up. highly recommended

Played the H1 (2006) strat today: wonderful! the fender people improved the overall finish on this one, it feels less cheap, the neck is arguably the highlight of this guitar in terms of feel.

electronics-wise, the Greasebucket tone system does what it promises: less top end without adding bass. if you can't hear the diff, don't force yourself to. the bonus here is that the bridge pickup's tone is now controlled by the lower tone knob (together with the middle single coil), unlike its predecessors where the bridge single coil is devoid of tone control. however, list price has been revised to $1,650 ($200 more than a non-Greasebucket unit).

Hi from Malaysia, been lurking for a while and waiting for a right oppurtunity to post and i guess now is the time

Anyway, I am trying to get a Jap RGT and I was wondering if you know of any that have been earmarked for the sale this weekend? If there was I was hoping for one of my friends to be able to pop in and get it for me, but after seeing all the talk abot queuing up and camping, I am beginning to realise that its probably not going to happen. Oh well, doesn't hurt to ask just in case.

By the way, thank a lot for the gear updates and all the reviews, I can't imagine how much business you brought Swee Lee since youstarted posting!

Yep, I realised that. Since sweelee closes around 8pm, if i come at 6 or 7 most of the crowd would have left, right? Am thinking of picking at leftovers and see if I can find any worthwhile stuff.... not expecting much...
