damnn..

haha all first year all same same one. all blur like sotong! eh u what course? i at sch of built environment...civil eng.

coool. im at Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
heard engineering first year all learn same one.
its the second year where the modules are different already .

when i was first went into poly, SP didnt require its students to own laptops. NP did though, except for nursing and early childhood students, if i remember correctly.

get the mac grim! awesome stuff.

jameshetfieldkirkhammet: nah, not from BS. went for PPP unit 4 (the module NP implemented for all graduating students) and the lecturer gave an example about that. not sure whether it's accurate or not, but i thought it was worth trying to freak out those BS students

JaarVis. and Zeebra: NP, or should i say most poly engineering lecturers are all damn chinky. maybe except for chem eng. i guess i wasnt even on the same wavelength as my fellow students, sometimes, coming from a pre-dominantly english-speaking sec sch. i never thought i'd conform to the ways of the poly world, which is speaking chinese. (in my case; but then again, after my friends heard me speak chinese, they kinda understood why i was sticking to english HAH!)

up till today i'm still trying to figure why i gave FSV (Film, Sound and Video) a miss and went to engineering.

plain stupidity or wonderfully foresighted, you tell me.

Any one know when NP school starts?

in april. most probably 14 April. i'm not too sure myself. if your course requires you to get a laptop, i suggest you get one when there is a laptop sale in NP. they'll tell you when it'll be held. it's cheaper than when its sold outside. oh and i suggest you go for the orientation camps. it'll help you loads. they'll let you know that you ain't alone in the school/course cos there WILL be someone in the same course as you attending the camp

yea all courses require you to get laptops in np. except for nursing. i'm not too sure about early childhood though...

macs, well, if you join my course, audio-visual technology, you'll be required to install windows in your mac. sweet isn't it? i'm using windows now on my mac.

you're going to mass comm? trust me, you're gonna love it there. most of the hot chicks are there.

That made laugh so hard that milk came out my nose. I wish ah.

Mass Comm isn't as glamorous as it appears to be. The reality is you will have very little time for yourself, you will have to deal with fake people and their politics, and you will have to survive on very little sleep. Go in, be prepared to try to stay under the radar, stick with a few close friends, and always remember to represent for yourself. Don't let people shove their crap up your ass, and you'll do just fine.

hey my friends go ajc also say very ******. dont know why? now they appealing go nyjc...what's wrong with ajc, wonder why??

I personally do not like the idea of going to AJC at the very start. -.- I mean, I didn't even consider about going into this school.

Furthermore, I hate those sort of childish programmes like orientation. Just makes me feel worse.
