now it's the laptop thing, don't know which to get, and you know laptops aren't cheap, it cost a bomb! if i get a mac now, i can't use it for normal engineering due to the java scripts and stuffs

You can install windows on a mac using bootcamp. no worries there dude

Or you can just use the windows bios, I think there is a guide somewhere, seeing boot camp only comes with the newest os x.

Just curious, what was the cut off entry for mass comm? If I got a1 for english and humans but my points are high because of maths and sciences would I still be able to appeal in?

The cut off points is 10. Just appeal I guess. I got a B3 for English and still got in. Haha.

Get all the best shit like core duo processors (two processors) and SLI/Crossfire graphics card (two graphics card) if they give you 1gig of ram, upgrade it to 2gigs. Or if you have 4 slots for ram upgrade to 4gig. Yea thats about it.. :/ hee hee hee

Just check out the mac website.
Every mac notebook should come with intel duo core 2 processor, at the very least.

Only got 2 slots for ram, use 2 gigs each for 4 gig ram like me

leopard version is Version 10.4? When i went to the mac shop at somerset, there was one mac which cost like more than 10000 if my eyes were not fooling me .the ram was like 8 gig or something and i think it 's loaded with all the designing tools like the cs3 and stuff.
