Post your swee lee sales hoot!

how much did you pay for your Epi lp std?
I'm thinking of going down to get one too.
sorry bout the double post;
my question is posted to fezz

it's $535 after discount, i got it with hardcase, with discount also, total $599.20 =D
but i must say i saw only a few pieces of epiphone LP std. the rest are the other LP models

The deal was damn good... I was very tempted also... There were 2 more in the center island, but I got tempted by the Gibby.

I wonder if anyone picked up that 7 string Xiphos or not...

When I was there only one remained in the center island with frets so rusted they were black. No thanks. The Xiphos was still there when I left.

^ I didn't see either of those. There are a couple of 2008 standards and a Supreme that was awfully tempting too.

all the warrick rockbags for electric guitars were sold out within the first 30 mins ytd except for those that didn't have padding. not sure if they'll bring in new stock today

i believe all the epiphone les paul standard,standard plus and custom are all sold out yesterday already.
dont think they bringing new stock today.

Whitestrat: Yeah the Xiphos is a pretty good buy too, considering the Dimarzios and all. Just can't deal with such a ridiculously pointy shape. The condition is pretty good too, compared to some of the other guitars up for sale.

I asked a salesperson about the sorry state of some of the guitars there, and he said, "oh it just put in the store for very long that's why like that. it is wood la it is like that, it will only get worse." Terrible sales pitch, much? :S I did a serial number check and the guitar is 5 years old. Guess it has something to do with hanging on the wall of a store for that long without being properly maintained. So I guess if you're gonna buy an Ibanez during the SL sale, get the newer models if possible.

Rendesvous: Yeah I saw the ME-50 in stock yesterday. Can't guarantee that it's still there though.

Yeah... thats why I wasn't so inclined to get an Ibby... The Gibsons, on the other hand had some really nice pieces available.
