When I was there only one remained in the center island with frets so rusted they were black. No thanks. The Xiphos was still there when I left.

all the warrick rockbags for electric guitars were sold out within the first 30 mins ytd except for those that didn't have padding. not sure if they'll bring in new stock today

Whitestrat: Yeah the Xiphos is a pretty good buy too, considering the Dimarzios and all. Just can't deal with such a ridiculously pointy shape. The condition is pretty good too, compared to some of the other guitars up for sale.
I asked a salesperson about the sorry state of some of the guitars there, and he said, "oh it just put in the store for very long that's why like that. it is wood la it is like that, it will only get worse." Terrible sales pitch, much? :S I did a serial number check and the guitar is 5 years old. Guess it has something to do with hanging on the wall of a store for that long without being properly maintained. So I guess if you're gonna buy an Ibanez during the SL sale, get the newer models if possible.

Yeah... thats why I wasn't so inclined to get an Ibby... The Gibsons, on the other hand had some really nice pieces available.

Just to set some assurance, Katong Showroom only officially opened in July this year and thus all the guitars that was sold today ranges from 2 days old to max up 5months (mainly some amps) of display. Thus, they are very new in actual fact.
Katong Showroom opens daily from 1030am - 7pm (Mon-Sat) and 1230pm to 6pm (Sun)
