PlayStation2 Game - Guitar Hero

If you love playing guitar, rock music, own a PS2 and have a few bucks to spare (about $150 actually) then I highly recommend this game.

There's an SG shaped 'guitar' controller that you use to play (the basis of the game is those 'hit the notes at the same time the coloured dot appears' type) and it's really funny!

Includes 30 great tracks such as Cowboys From Hell, Symphony for Destuction, Iron Man, I Love Rock N Roll, etc... all covered very faithfully.

Of course it's no substitute for playing a real guitar but you'd be surprised how 'real' the controller feels and the action of fretting and picking notes is. FUN!

not rly i saw the game on MTV game pad. rly interesting. but the ones in arcade are different tho. arcade ones are a real guitar but the instead of plucking the strings there is a sort of roller. for you to imitate the strumming motion and buttons on the fretboard. the PS2 controller dun haf the roller thingy for the strumming motion. but still RLY COOL

ayee yess!!! freak.. i wanna get that game. Guitar hero. Compared to Guitar Freak in the aracdes. Guitar hero has more buttons right? Any idea how much would that SG guitar controller cost? And i think you can actually play it with a normal ps2 controller right?

I bought the game with controller at Funan for $148. It's all in a set - not sure you can buy seperately and I didn't see anything in the instructions about using the regular controller.

ouuh.. saw the reviews and stuff on gamespot. Maybe you could try playing it with a normal controller and see if it works.. if it does, then i'll jus get the game. :wink: runnin low on cash already

You know as I mentioned previously, I saw something like that in Yamaha, and it's not a game!

anybody know how much it costs to repair a modified PS2? my PS2 can't load all the games that i have and keeps showing the "insert PS2 disc" red screen.. my friend say it could be the PS2 chip or the lens.. pls help me thanks
