Playing guitar with teeth

Bros, just wondering if anyone can shine some light on playing guitar with teeth?been wondering how they do tt...tried a few times but end up slicing my lips thx alot rock on dudes!!!

Hmmm, how bout getting the electric guitar properly shield for a start.

Then after that, used the freting hand to do some continuous tapping/hammer on/pull off while moving the head as if using the teeth for playing......

If not, use a looper pedal and fake it. Play the part where you want to fake with the teeth. After that whenever you need it, just lift up the guitar, step on the looping device and there you go :lol:

this is interesting... genuine intention in teeth picking... who made you do it? hendrix?

i can't tell you for sure how you should go about doing it because it seems more harm is done than good... but the safest way is to extract teeth from dentures & use them as a picks. :wink:

all this teeth picking reminds me of the Paul Gilbert clinic where he did a bluff by bringing his guitar to his mouth & poeple thought he was using his teeth- he just shouted into the pickups & did trilling with the left hand. it's was done well & we were had...

haha,nice response from u dudes...heard from dhalif that the way is to use a tooth to pull a note then use sustain to continue your hammer ons and tapping...haha

teeth picking is IMO unnecessary...

use tongue but u have to change strings after playing which is common sense . Just becareful not to slice yr tongue.

been trying to slice the string with my front tooth but really difficult to get a good sound...tongue will probably leave me wet strings and fingers

Agree with Sub...

teeth picking is unneccessary.... "faking it" is more economical! haha

Vai uses his tongue sometimes to get that natural harmonics between ur two pickups.

being a guitarist.. doesnt mean you need to be only good on the techniques and stuff i guess... people come and pay to see you.. you're an entertainer.. a good show.. will receive good reviews.. therefore explains the teeth playing ACT .. which is... yes ..unneccesary like some guys here said.. but we need those to boost the performance.. =))
what i do is.. not do anything fast.. i mean.. use your teeth to pick the strings.. its like picking normally.. but use ur teeth.. pick once.. and do legatos on the left hand man.. thats all i guess.. keep rocking \m/ :twisted: \m/
