Placing a clean booster before or after the distortion unit

before the dist unit would give you more saturation. after the dist units it would work more like a volume boost pedal.

Hey GUys... when you say before and after what does it mean?

Amp - Pedal A - Pedal B - Guitar

So is Pedal A before or after?

When you guys list your sequence is it like above or like:

Guitar - Pedal B - Pedal A- Amp??

Which is it? Heh..

Can some one please help me as well.. I'm currently setup like this...

Amp - DD3 - CE5 - DS1 - OCD - ST2 - TS9 - Guitar

Would this be about right??

How would the position of my compressor (ST2) affect my overall sound and playing?

Would the sequence in which I place the pedals affect the noise from the amp when I've got the drive on?

Guitar into TS into OCD means that TS is before OCD..
and your sequence is correct..
usually guitar into wah then od/dist then modulations..

Hey dude, you try the Xotic AC Plus, or Fulltone GT500, you get your answer.

If your looking to get a clean boost as in just to boost your signal or ur gain etc. Then put the pedals before your distortion units. means.. Guitar -> CLEANBOOST -> distortion unit.

If your looking for a volume boost. Place the cleanboost after your dist units. meaning.. Guitar -> Distortion units -> CLEAN BOOST.
