Pink floyd at Live 8

i just bought the DVD and watch the pink floyd reunion performance at Live 8.. i was blown away man.... hearing them perform Comfortably numb as the last song of the event and especially hear the solos of that song was so magical... nearly brought me to tears and hearing it reminds me of my younger days hearing my uncle,etc playing that song.. that song has got to be on of the top solos in the world.. so feeling!!!!

the solo in P.U.L.S.E was the best ever.

I downloaded the performance a couple of days after I saw it. I got emotional and almost cried when watching it.. amazing....

i watched them play wish you were here at some performance on tv..solo was awesome..a strat was used to play it instead of acoustic..but cant seem to find it on youtube..

Agree with nitrovo, the solo on PULSE is still the best. still gives me goosebumps whenever I hear it. Search for it on youtube. And witness the magic of David Gilmour

Wow Pink Floyd fans here! Nice nice! A lifetime dream came true for me last year when my lovely wife and me went to London Hyde Park to catch among so many great acts Roger Waters and David Gilmour playing together as the majestic Pink Floyd for the 1st time in yonks and possibly never ever again! It was an emotional event for me and all who travelled from the globe to witness the event in the flesh. Watching the DVD just gives me shivers to realize that I was just beyond 50 meters from the center of the stage. So much to tell and share of this experience.

yea.. i couldnt agree more. watching it alone is breathtaking, imagine how high you will get when you play it. I spent like 3 weeks tabbing it out, the reward is is... beyond description.

the live8 one feels more alive though.
