hey guys how can a piezo bridge be fit onto an epiphone LP? must there be a new output for the piezo or can the piezo be blended with the other pups using a knob? any input would be appreciated : D thanks!

also, can a piezo be installed in a wraparound bridge. i hea=rd that piezos arent made for wraparounds.

u can add a blender pot to ur guitar by replacing one of ur existing pots or drill another whole for the blender, the blender is used to blend the piezo wit ur pickups.and ur wraparound is it stoptail wraparound or like a LP junior kind of wrap around?

hhah okay im talking about 2 seperate guitars over here. firstly, the LP right.so you're saying that changing one of the tone/volume knobs into a blender knob will be able to mix the piezo and the pups together? what if i want to have full piezo sometimes or full elec sometimes? and btw how much does a piezo bridge+installation+blender costs in total?

the other guitar is a PRS style guitar with the wraparound bridge. is it possibel to fit a piezo bridge
on thosE?

wrap around like LP junior kind?and the LP u mus install another switch to trigger between pups and the piezo...if im not wrong the whole set will cost about 500+(iirc) from maestro and the TOM bridge got 2 types the schaller one or tonepros locking piezo bridge

You should look at this page...

Oh, and personally, I'd go for the fishman rather than the LR Baggs... Used to have both. The Fishman to me sounds more natural...

okay a pict of the epiphone is

and an example of the wraparound is

just realised the bridge condition is very bad -.- just in time for the piezo bridge : D

u can jus go to maestro and ask them for their graphtech ghost piezo system...or u can go g77 for the shadow one if i not wrong

sorry didnt see this just now whitestrat. uhhm i heard alot of samples and i think the fishman sounds the best out of all the choices haha. can you pm me the price of the fishman powerbridge+powerchip and where did you get the mod done? thanks.

my LP is a LP custom MIK haha. and if i cant get the fishman one i'll prolly settle for the shadow piezo haha. btw, nobody has any experience with the wraparound bridge?

I don't think you can have piezos on a wraparound. Piezos usually work on bridges with individual saddles.

I don't have this actually. I'm comparing the LR Baggs piezo trem I had (from guitar connection) with the fishman built-into my EBMM Petrucci. The petrucci is still the killer. It's weird that I only use it for acoustic tones when recording though... My strats sound much nicer...

hahaha ohhh.... well i heard some samples of the ghost bridge and im very impressed. just pmed kaycee to ask for the pricing and stuff. also, can the wraparounds be switched with another type of bridge, like those stud mount ones so that the saddles can be switched out to the piezo saddles? and any idea how much the LR Baggs one are?

embryo : yeah i know its on the slash custom! buts thats way over budget for me hahaha. im a poor student yo. : D
