has anybody self-mod their bass?

im gonna spray pink or yellow on mine after the warranty has expired.
the guitar shop guy is quite an asshole, he made a fuss about me pasting ONE sticker on the neck when i brought it for repairs.

its only one sticker , no bigger than 10cm. he said if i paste anymore stickers he will void the warranty. bleh. ass..

the ideas of stickers/spray paint never gotten the hold of me ..

i'm a pure wood person .. i think it's the wood that makes a bass really stand out as a bass ..

check out MTD basses man .. ash body with burl maple top ... *drools* ...

spalted maple is really beautiful too .. natural ash with high gloss finish really brings out the grain of the wood nicely ..
