Pickup Question?

I have a brand new Epi LP standard plus..was wondering whether the pickups are good for the direction i'm going at. i'm really into rock n roll and i love the distortion that rock n roll has...do you think it would be wise to keep the original pickups.....don't get me wrong though, i love the sound that i get from the original; pickup. it's just that i wanna be sure that i'm not misisng out on other superb pickups.


Main Influences: Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Wolfmother, Metallica, GnR

i was reviewing a gibson '59 classic & burstbuckers....they both seem to be the favourites in replacing pickups....however are the seymour duncans cheaper than the gibson pickups

yup, and the SDs sound just as good. Trust me... heh.

Actually, if you're not on a tight budget, you might want to consider Suhr SSV pickups. Very good. But not cheap...

would you guys know where they sell seymour duncan & Gibson pickups in sg....or do i have to order them online

SDs would be Davis. Gibsons at Swee Lee...
