pickup conversion ring - from hum to single

IMO, if you have a 22 fretter, and you are going to replace your neck hum with this kind of pickup ring, you wouldn't really be getting that full sweet tubular tone from the new single coil....

its for a H-S 24 fret SG.
stick on that pickup ring on the Single coil at neck, and do a small SG style pickguard for it.
cept looking at the guitar now, its not gonna look right, so guess i'll carry on with the full faced pickguard.

its the 'yellow' (extremely faded alpine white that got attacked by cigarette smoke in countless bars) SG.
yea there is a single coil rout under that original pickguard template, i havent gotten around to doing a full faced template yet to see what it would look like.
i removed the single coil pickup, was a SD hotrails in very bad shape.
