its not bout thickness.. the thickness doesnt go away.. and jazz 3.. IS thick.. just goes blunt..at the tip..

Yea, and when that happens somehow the attack is lost :(

wah, i never knew you people wear out picks and strings so easily.. come here than realised you all serious players ah!! before that i thot play strings until they snap is the natural way things go!

LoL, no choice. Sometimes even jamming alone at home, can get that state of high-ness, then you just whack the strings man. But strings usually take longer to die.

I hope Dunlop produces a pick with the same qualities of the 1.5/2mms using a more reliable and long lasting material than delrin.

wahaha... gotta try the stubby picks! where can i get them? dint see them at swee lee or ps today...

some of my picks throughout the years...

a little background history on some of them:

*the pentagon shaped pick- my wife bought them for me when she was in Vietnam, she bought the Hofner ones as well.

*the holes you see in some picks were my attempt to improve grip. i used an incense stick to burn a hole in them.

*that skull pick on the left of satan glows in the dark

*top row, second from left- ICE PICK: has a patented adhesive padding which sticks to your gloss finish body so you won't lose it if you don't play it- complementary of Davis GMC, thanks Janet! 8)

i use...

heavy 1.0mm ones, don't have to be fender, as long as it's this shape.

ocassionally, a 50cents coin.

i use the awe in one picks, made in singapore. Like them cuz i sweat a lot picks keep slipping these have good grips.

Just switched from Jazz III black to the red one, which I finds give a more pronounce sound when doing lead lines and feels better when strumming. Better grip too.
