Pick up Specifications

Does anyone know what F-spaced exactly is? I just roughly know that it has something to do with the dimensions of the pickups

Also, are there guitars that are also F-spaced?

If so, can a non-F-spaced guitar fit a F-spaced pup?

Lastly,Can a dimarzio super distortion pup be fitted into a jem-jr?

F-spaced is Floyd-Rose spacing and the dimension of the pickups are the same, except the pole spacing will be different for F & non F-spaced pickups, but that is of very minor concern.

It is said to have effect on the tone, but to me (probably my ears aint sharp), it doesn't matter.

A non F-spaced pickup can fit into any guitars, same as a F-spaced pickup. Dimension is the same, but pole spacing just a little different.

It definitely can fit into your JEM Jr.
