Pick Talk/ V-picks comments

i'm curious to find out do u guys change pick? i have been playing for years and i never change my pick.. i only change when i misplace them..
My pick gets blunt.. but i'm still using it..

anyway.. i'm using the jim dunlop picks..
anyone knows the real name to call it? jim dunlop seems to have many different kinds..

i'm using the yellow one.. but if only i could custom make white or black transparent ones.. make them 0.3cm thicker than the yellow one.. yeah.. that'll be nice.. hahahha

i use a 1.5mm pick, (Jim Dunlop 417P1.5MM) i cant seem to use normal plastic picks cos my hands tend to get sweaty and it may slip. so ive been using this pick ever since. plus its very comfy.

i use whatever picks that i can find at home..
gator grip 0.73mm.. picks from city music.. and a V-pick(not too sure which model though)..

used to use dunlop lucky 13s. 0.73 and 1mm.
somehow the black ones are stiffer then the white ones..
the highs sing with that pick.

recently converted to V picks after a few frens intro-ed them to me.
there's some difference in the picks man i tell u.
somehow the V picks got 'mojo' in them.
the mids sing much better, but the feel is something u gotta get used to.

yeap.
juz my few cents worth.

V-picks for great tone.you dont get that plastic-ish sound when you pick a note.but hard on the harmonics.

which shop(s) sells V-picks other than on the website of bgwguitars.com?

BGW is the distributor for V picks in Singapore. Excellent service they provide. Pay them upfront and you will receive the pick in your mailbox in 1 to 2 days.

i use my jim dunlop usa nylon 1.14mms, dunlop tortex 1.14mms, dunlop usa 1.5mms, and usually i use my dunlop usa xtra-heavy 2.5mms. haha the nylon picks are great for pinch harmonics.

Dunlop Tortex Fins.

the 0.93 green ones, and occasionally, chap-a-lang 0.8mm celluloid picks to bluff myself for the 'vintage'-y feel.

All completely subjective, of course.
