performance - input or line in?

so i use a zoom g2.1u...

let's say i wanna have a performance and the amps they provided have a standard input jack and line in jack. considering the fact that i have set my prefered clean/distortion and EQ settings in the pedal beforehand, which do i use and why?

Which amp is that? Is the line in for CD player?

If you use the normal guitar in, you still can boost it abit with gain and shape it alittle with eq.
