After posting on this thread, there was only 1 lowballer who asked me to pay $260 for the hardcase while he would fork out $100 for the brand new PT 2 frame.
His reasoning was so cute...
Cost of PT2 SC = $200
We split 50/50. So PT2 frame = $100.
PT2 HC = $360.
So the HC = $360 - $100 = you pay $260 for the hardcase.
Followed by the hilarious "LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE KEEN".

50/50 split on the SC was following discussion with Ebenex themselves, when I wanted to buy just the frame from them. Not unfair to consider incremental costs on HC vs SC. $140-$160 for a brand new PT-2 frame would have been more reasonable.

You are also quite aggressive. I am sure most people would prefer to tell you what you like to hear when you are the customer. :lol:
Just buy another complete set of PT-2 lah...

I would be happy to split the cost of a new PT-2 with you. Based on your own calculations:-
- I pay $100 for the brand new PT-2 frame.
- You pay the remaining for the hard or softcase, whichever you choose.

i did suggest the 50-50 for the soft cases before as it sort of makes sense, at least to me. $180 for the pedaltrain. the frame for $90, the bag for $90.
if you take the frame at $90, and apply that same logic to a pt-2-hc, then that hard case would be going for only approx $195 after discount, which is pretty much in line with what a custom flight case that size would cost.

No worries David, not accusing you, no need to clarify anything. Just wanted to point out that I didn't come up that split, which some find so ridiculous and "low-balling".
Anyway, I think you guys are doing a great job. Pedaltrains won't be easily available if not for you bringing them in.

There hasn't been any activity on this thread in a while. Is it still only possible to get the PT2 hard cases as part of the set? I bought a PT2 soft case a while ago, and now I want the hard case (but not the board). Is anyone planning on buying a PT2 any time soon who doesn't want/need a case?
