my pedals and guitar arrangement:

guitar>95Q>Dime Dist/Metal Zone>Behringer X V-Amp>amp

ok,is there any disadvantage in having a multi-fects(digital) pedal at the end of the chain?

thx in advance...

er..i think what he meant was is there any disadvantage in having his x vamp at the end of his chain instead of wanting to add another mulit? right/wrong?

^^ he wants to use other effects simultaneously with his multifx, like use the multifx's delay with the 95Q, or the multifx's chorus with the metalzone liddat..

he wants to noe whether it is 'right' to mix digital and analog pedals together. rite? :)

I don't think there's any wrong or right way with it, if it sounds ok to you in that arrangement then its ok. To a certain extent, I think there's no exact science to this, trial and error works best, especially for your own ears. I normally don't mix multi-fx cos it adds some colouring which dulls my tone, but yeah that's for my setup, so it might work for you.

multi efx will compromise the original tone.

But if you like it then good la i guess. its all about tweaking anyways. 8)

I have tried with putting a multi-fx with analog pedals and it doesn't sound good to me at all.

I have however also seen people use just a Wah pedal with a multi-fx behind and it sounds ok.

What u can try is with the Dime Dist on, listen to it with and without the multi-fx behind, and see if it impacts the Dime Dist sound.
