ahaha thanks. ok now suddenly im scared of de boss compression sustainer. but anyway i dun believe in artificial sustains. just haf de pickups riding down low away from de strings n good fretting work will juice out a gd amount of sustain frm any guitar.

well. argh. i need more pedal recommendations den i haf at least a reason to go down to shops to try.

Is it true compression sustainer pedals produce a shitload of noise? I personally have never tried one before. Care to shed some light on them?

yes it's true, at least in my case..when u turn the sustain knob up too much, it begins to hiss very badly..so used to use it on very low settings..

u could use it for clean tones..i remember sounding pretty close to john frusciante's clean tone on under the bridge with my dod milkbox. If you're feeling rich, they say the keeley compressor is one of the best in the market..

argh. to get malmsteens sound is so hard. hes got such a fab compressed tone but doesnt seem to haf anything on de market tt can produce tt sound. even his signature DOD pedal only acts as a boost. hmph.

prs ce24..very nice..always wanted to try out a 24 fret prs..but am happy with my RG470 la haha..after pickup change the sound's killer!! btw how much you bought it?

2900. but den there r problems with every dream guitar. one thing i absolutely hate abt de prs is de pickup switch. came with 5 way rotary. i might as well hire a techie to help me switch pickups while im playing :wink: so i got a 3 way n a coil tap installed. neck isnt too thin. n de maple top is wicked but sadly there aint no pickguard to protect de top. also one more crack at prs. de saddles r damn lousy. i do lots of bending so sumhow de strings cut into my saddles making me break strings like i change underwear [ i do it very often ]. so i had to get graphtechs installed. so yeah. so i had to spend even more. im so broke now i dun even own a dist pedal.

poor thing that's the same one i saw at davis..the cheapest of the PRS range save for the SEs..didn't know it had so many faults..and what's the deal about it having a 5 way switch when there are 2 pickups? so wierd...haha think i better stick with Ibanez...for some reason i love the floating bridge haha...

oh dats wat makes de prs versatile. de 5 way includes de split hums.
1 neck hum
2 split neck
3 neck + bridge hums
4 split bridge
5 bridge hum

actually they arent really faults. guess im just sum crazy fussy dick who would be better off with custom shop prs. haha no la. i love my prs to death n neva regretted buying it. its a friggin amazing guitar. im scared of floyd rose. ahaha. tuning deprives me of my practice time. but ibanez guitars r also damn good. im saving up hopefully for a 7 stringer. hopefully.

haha the moment i got mine i took out the 5 way man ... and put in a 3way..
the rotary is so troublesome.. pentatonic you should also consider changing the pickups... the stock pickups arent that nice when you compare them to seymour duncans...

oh which means the ce24 comes with coil split mod already..? sorry not very familiar with such high end stuff..hehe..

im not really a pedal expert... but the VS route 66 is one sweet pedal... the od side of this pedal is very useable... i wont call it a ts808 clone... it isnt.. but its pretty dang good.

the compressor is awesome.. much much better then my crappy boss compression sustainer.

ofcourse the holygrail .. - the DS-1 ..

Anyone has anything to say about the tonebone hot british? budda preamp pedals? etc...
