another big fan here. I play the guitar to "alive" almost every night. Its a pity i was too young to know anything about pearl jam in 1995.
 
couple of memorable thing from that show

mudhoney open for them

chaos start even before peal jam can finished the first song and security had to stop band, on the light in indoor stadium, urge fans to calm down, remove all the chairs infront of stage before everything turn ugly

eddie vedder doing "right here waiting" with make up lyrics on something critical bout security or was it singapore(cant exactly remember the actual thing)

eddie stopping security who tried to manhandle one of the fans and curse right in security face over the mic

plenty of fans climbing up the stage as security lost control, shaking hand with eddie one by one and diving back into the crowd

and again, mr vedder using mic stand to band the stage floor till it break into a small hole and jumping right into it.

last one, i bootleg the whole show on cassette tape, but to lose the tape after all these years.

the tix is safely place inside one of their cds :mrgreen:.
hmmm forgot if it was pearl jam concert that plays during hari raya or was it foo fighters?

one of my friend went up to the stage, shake hand with eddie and than kena booted out by security!! lol!!
 
Planning trip to Perth or Melbourne

jetstar return flight to perth cost $190. PJ gig tix $150. $340 to watch Pearl Jam play. Wanna organise a group trip?
 
Yeah... Pearl Jam should play here. Problem is I wonder if they are still up to touring around that much. It is interesting to read about what they were like back in the day when they came and played here. I mean... fans going onstage and shaking hands with Eddie Vedder? Thats a real connection made right there that I think most ego over-blown superstars wont be able to comprehend. Lols.
 
After watching Metallica, Black Sabbath (not heaven & hell), Slayer, Megadeth and other acts since the late 90's till present, the one band that i regretted not going was Pearl Jam.

Maybe i was too metal back then (alternative bands were not broootal enuff..hehe)...

I have to admit Pearl Jam is one of the top 5 bands in my list right now.
