target should be 900 at original price if not wrong, so 450 after discount?
price drop liao.. i think now abt 760or 780.
BTW, the retail prices 'stuck on the paper price tag' is different at sweelee BB and sims. the quote after discount at sims branch is still higher than the actual retail price written on the BB branch pricetags. so u can imagine the retail price on the sims branch' pricetags la.
i dunno why la, maybe for drums mus go certain branch, guitar go another branch. i havent been in the scene for long so i cant give much useful opinion.

as for the cymbals... YES.. stay away from Zildjian's zxt and zbt.. trust me, i've used zbts in sch last time and you really don't wanna go there..
i beg to differ.. i have a pair of zbt's down at my church... if im not wrong.. been used for more than 6-8 yrs already. and im telling u, i seriously love the sound. it sounds good when its super seasoned, though its sheet bronze, i dont see any durability problems now.
i live in a hdb, got my set not too long ago.. stagestar tuned well can sound as good as those higher end drums. of cus, depending on your needs, for practicing at home, i dont really need some high projecting drumset. i aqcuired a
really cheap set of
really new paiste 302's. they are sheet brass but theres a reason to get em. the quick sound decay really helps in a hdb.
i inend to upgrade, but thats when i get better, probably when i have more space to accomodate a better set.
OH, and about sweelee, i do have some ugly $%^& about them.
i got my stagestar before the sale,at 700 bucks. okay, the real deal... u know those o'rings we use to muff and decrease vibration on the drums? they said they give me a discount on em.
i didnt know much abt them, but they told me it was essential. so i went ard the shelf to see how much they cost.. there was a pack of 2 or 3 in 1 set it cost around 15 bucks. so i asked how many would i need, common sense would tell me 4 pieces la.
so ok, 1 for snare 3 for toms, he told me i must get 2 packs, so cost ard $30+. den i ask for discoount he said ok u pay half i pay half, but since i charge u half price i take out the rings u dont need, means i pay only $15.
when i came to pay and collect, he opened up a diff pack which contained 4 rings just nice for all the drums.. and that fagot take out 1 piece, means i only left 3!
i didnt know till i went home and my floor tom didnt have 1... wad to do, now i only use the 1 for my snare so that the toms sound even..
if not for the free delivery and them being the cheapest so far, i sure boycott them. at least its good to know that we are aware of their %^&*.
