Hey guys, I want to a Pearl drumset and im sick and tired of going down to Swee Lee and seeing the same sets all the time, so can u guys tell me whether there are any other Pearl Dealers on the island?

there are so many pearl drum sets. RT, TARGET, FORUM, EXPORT, ELX..
and my guess is only swee lee that brings pearl, in sg. nearest would be m'sia.

They're probably the official dealer, and that means if you want anything in the pearl catalogue, they're your best bet. Thing is, they probably won't display or import every single thing in the catalogue, but only the more popular ones they know will sell.
So, if you really wanna find out more, you've got to call them and ask for availability and a quote.
Doesn't solve the problem of seeing/testing the gear before you buy, but one solution could be to appeal to fellow drummers around here to let you try their kit, in return, you buy them a beer or something. Haha.
E.g, Anyone has a SMX kit that I can spend 5-10 mins on?
You get the idea.

No lah I'm just an average income earner, but I use all my $$$ on Drums & Cymbals (no saving)...me wify is bery angry with me because of that.
The MLX is Tony Zee Personal Kit (which is of Sentimental Value to me - since he is my Sifu)...so I buy it from him...hoping it will motivate my drumming. (hahaha...so funny isn't it)
The 1970s Yammies belongs to Abel Ong (Tama Goh good friend) my company Director when he was young (also Sentimental Value)& best friend who is also the Former Owner of Trio Music (they market DW/Zildjian) at that time...so again I buy it over from him.
All second-hand one lah...though not so cheap cause I want it from them.
PS: - I also have a Ludwig SuperSensitive Snare from the 1970s - and it belong to Anthony Fong (when he was young) from Yamaha Music School....also of Setimental value to me one.

But even if I post you cannot see clearly the inside cause the Batter & Reso cover it and so not clear.
As I say you are all my Bros in Drumming, we share the hobby...so you are really welcome to see and try the kit
