bro, during my dry spell, i listened to music more than b4, kept hearing GnR over and over and over again, and of course, kept busying myself with fish. When i was back and ready for action, i improved without practising the whole time! haha...i get how u feel, actually for me, when i lose the passion, playing even more guitar made me feel sicker...even if i tried other genres or styles. Yea, i understand how u feel...

maybe your lousy guitar is sucking the passion out of you? I used to own a samick strat, when i got my les paul i could feel the passion growing rapidly...

haha, bro hi fi killer, i know im not the one u asking the question to, but it might interest u to note that i was already using my slash les paul and a Ibanez RG series when i lost passion.

cummon... thats not enough.... get a marshall micro STACK AMP man!!! together with some other wikkid amp moddeller... and a wah pedal... rock it!!! bah...

go to more quality gigs or concerts lor... mix with some pros... share knowledge... start a band or go with a mini project... what ever it takes...

or u could just play DOTA 24/7 for a mth like an ass with all those leavers and get sick of it... THEN come back to guitar... ya... it'll help

yalor yalor, i had my fav amps and my wah wah pedal, still couldnt get the feeling back...to be real honest with everyone, i only got back the fire(smaller fire than before nontheless), only very recently...some people who know me may be surprised too...no worries dude. 8)

it happened to me before....i stopped for a month...sold my guitar...went to work a little...watch movies, go sentosa to chill...den suddenly one day i decided to pick it up again..went to sweelee and buy some korean rg

I guess maybe you can try taking lessons. I think the main reason why you are losing ur interest is because you feel that you're "stuck", like you cant improve anymore
