OMG, I can't believe nobody started this thread yet!

Gold medal, silver medal, 2 bronze medal and 2 world records, all from our very own Singaporeans, born and bred. An accomplishment I most certainly think we should be proud of, no question.

Yip Pin Xiu's 50m backstroke swim was especially phenomenal. She was far ahead from the others.

So is she gonna get a million dollars? If she does, I certainly won't mind, honestly.

I agree with you. They deserved to be recognised and treated the same way as the able bodied Team Singapore. They even brought back more medals. I'm even more proud of them!

Sigh... I was hoping there's a change of mind. I would think she deserves at least 5 times over. She's not even doing it full time, so I would say all the time that she spent training should be worth more.
