paiste twenty rides

hey there....... i was thinking of buying the paiste twenty rides... i love their sound so much..... the prob is i tend to use my rides as crash sometimes and my concern is the volume of the cymbal...... the website says the volume is pretty low compared to the 2002 and the signature models..... can somebody tell me if this is true........ cause i really prefer the twenty sound.... plus most gig places nowadays dont have mics for the drums and i dont want to choke the cymbal when i hit it hard............
