P bass pickup cover

hey guys i'm thinking of adding a pickup cover to my precision bass as i play with a pick and i wanna rest my hand on it while playing.any of u know got any info abt them?like their purpose,cost where i can get them n stuff?

it'll block your hand more. you could rest your thumb on the pup or on the e string.

hmm i don't think metaldude can rest his thumb on the pup or E string, cause he needs to hold the pick. unless he holds the pick with index and middle finger haha.

its not about resting my thumb but my palm.i can do so on the bridge but i usually play near the neck than the bridge.

icic. playing near the bridge gives a more punchier tone than playing near the neck. if you rest your palm on the bass it may not be very good for your wrist, may have long term effects.
