It's US$110 to ship a guitar to singapore.

Nope. I email the dealer and ask him the shipping cost. Not UPS, just a normal post (should be by USPS, i assume).

u can choose whether to have the tracking with it or not. without the tracking it's cheaper but it's an ardous wait. :?

u can ask the owner to unbolt the guitar to save on volumetric weight (assuming u know how to assemble it back or sending the guitar for a setup anyway.) Mine was shipped at USD60, additional USD4 for insurance.

good point! taking off the neck to save volumetric weight

but the thing is, the guitar im buying isnt a bolt on
so cant take the neck off

imo for overseas don't get a hardcase.. will make shipping darn ex.

however, if u're concerned about the guy's packing, and especially if it's a set neck, get a hardcase instead. u don't want to risk the intergrity of the neck.
