Overdrive for GT2?

Ok. After a little more fiddling over the GT2 last night, I come to several conclusions:

1) There's no way that the BD2 is to be placed after the GT2 in the pedal chain. It changes the tone entirely by adding a layer to treble to the tube-like tone from the GT2.

2) When in british with the gain at 11 o'clock or less, the BD2 does boost the signal by adding a certain bite to the leads. However, i must really squeeze my ears to realise the difference. Whatever heavier settings after that doesn't yield much from the BD2.

3) BD2 does sound pretty good with the tweed mod engaged but only when soloing. Rythmn sounds better without the BD2.

4) BD2 might not eaxactly be the best boost/overdrive for the sansamp (for me that is) but i think i may just live without an overdrive for the time being. But have anyone of you heard/used Fulltone's Fat-boost? I'm being offered that pedal by the same person who sold me the GT2.

and fianlly..

5) I finally found something that brought justice to my strat. It was literally wailing in the british mod. Fat funky tone with the signature treble attack behind. And to think that i was going to sell it off sometime ago because it sounds too thin.

I don't mind having your BD2. ;)

Its a GREAT OD with grit/hair.... compared to the overly smooth TS and TS Clones, the BD2 has this bite that makes your tone more cutting and IMO, dynamic.

One of Boss' better stock pedals...

So yeah. Sell to me leh. :)

Haha.. Thanks for the offer but i think I'll keep it for future references. The dirty tons of the BD2 might come in helpful in the future, you'll never know. ;)

On the other hand, do you, by the slightest teeny weeniest chance, want a MT2? I just realised that I have 2 units and nobody seems to be interested, even when priced at 50 bucks. :P
