hey all softies out there..im quite a noob in guitaring so whenever i experience problems with my guitar im not very sure what to do...
as u guys know, the inside of the output jack is connected by 2 wires right?but one of mine broke and what should i do?i know its lame as i can juz send this to a guitar workshop but i dun hav enough money as im saving at the same time..i wish i could DIY but is it possible?i tried using glue but no help lei...

bro u can get the wiring diagram from the net ..
just do a search on ur guitar and the wiring..

You just need to resolder it..fyi glue doesnt work...
which one that u broke the grn or the one connected to the vol pots?

But if you don't have a solder, or have no experience with it, it's safer to bring it to a tech.

u need to strip the wire, meanign cut out the plasitc part and bare some of the expose metal cable and solder it back to the lugs on the pot. Find a schematic , if you cant read one or u cant use a soldering iron. best u bring to a tech.

if you have totally no experience in soldering or electronics,Short of showing you in person, theres no way we can help you. Bring it to the tech ask him if you can see how he does it and learn.

Please save yourself the trouble and send it for repair, either from a tech or from someone you know who knows soldering. It's just so not worth it to scrimp on repairing a guitar, for example, to get a guitar pedal when clearly the fundamental things are much more important.

Cheers
Raymond
