Opinions/Comments? Peal Acoustic Bass (4 String)

Anyone has any opinions on this? Seen it for sale for about 600 bucks. Wondering if it was worth that cost. Also, are there any acoustic basses for sale below 500 bucks? I'm looking for that low-end, deep-woody sound... think Black Sabbath acoustic. Thanks!

i'm not much into it,. cos i tried ovation acoustics before,.. not worth,.
y dun u just get an electric bass and invest in effects that would create that acoustic tone?

sorry thesilentenigma, like your nickname suggests.. i myself have not played many acoustic basses and don't know enough to comment on what i think is good -) if anything, trust your ears aye?
