just a general knowledge fact , techno music was born in detriot it was an unknown country as well, im sure most of us here would have heard of detriot.

Detroit isn't a country, it's a city. and it's probably not unknown. It's affectionately called the Motor City or Motown fairly often. Detroit is where Axel from Beverly Hills Cop was from. Detroit is also the city Robocop patrolled and it was regarded as the most dangerous city in the United States in the mid 80s, and is still consistently regarded as one of the most dangerous cities in the States, with one of the highest murder rates in the country.

the Detroit Pistons were one of the top basketball teams in the mid-80s, with Isaiah Thomas and Dennis Rodman as part of the "Bad Boys" lineup. The Detroit Redwings are legends in hockey. The Detroit Tigers sucked for a while but have recently made a pretty big comeback. One of the NFL's legendary runningbacks was from the Detroit Lions, Barry Sanders, jersey #20.

Michael Jackson and Madonna are from Detroit. So is Eminem. Henry Ford is from Detroit too.

i love the D, the 313.

oh yeah, hugs. my band is very huggy. we hug everytime we meet and every time we part. people are always wondering why we hug so much even though we meet almost every day. haha.

wah. i must say. that video is really very touching. and the music for it is just great. I somehow feel really compelled to go out there and spread some love.

I think hugging is a few generations away...perhaps we should start by ppl not objecting to sitting with others in the buses and trains... the number of self righteous pricks one meets in the local transport is hilarious

ps.hey i liked the ring

i, on the other hand, believe this culture will never return. we've become too alienated and isolated from each other due to technology.
think abt this the next time u choose to have an sms conversation with someone, instead of really talking on the phone. :)
