One fret...

is it possible to re fret only ONE FRET, without removing the strings? I just bought a new pack, one fret became quite a problem with it popping out and stuff. Or maybe just refret it without using a new pack of strings. If not then I just wasted 7 bucks at the most coincidental unfortunate timing

U can always restring back the same strings.. But, I dun think u can just refret. Re fretting has more things that needs to be done, like filling.

can use the same strings but refret is not the way to go. in such a case, bring it to a tech to hammer the fret back in and level it.

just for info sake, its going to cost more than the $7 that you want to save so badly.

I know, but it just sucks that I wasted that seven bucks, especially since I'm unemployed lol

heh, loosen the strings and remove the bridge, flip the strings still attached to the bridge to one side while working on the fret.

of course, that would prolly depend on what sorta bridge, tuning head one is using. It might, might not work.
