i dunno how u tune the snare. so far i found if u tuned the batter side tighter, the sound will be very crispy, and solid. the reso head is controlling the pitch, tighter u tune, higher the pitch will be. if u like a bigger tone, then can try to tune batter to medium tight, and reso slightly below medium tight. if u want a solid sound, tune tighter on your batter, medium on reso. if u found alot of over tone, u can u an external muffle to dull it, or u can chance the head, maybe those coated reversed dot head.
the snare wire alot, if buzz to much, u can tighten a bit, for me, idun like the wire be to tight. let say 1 is loose, 10 is tight, me probly at 4.
