OK... i recorded this over 40 times to get a decent recording... so you guys know how much i suck at guitar. :? the tempo in front is extremely slow at first.. i wanted to carry on with that tempo but couldn't get the groove. the rhythm is a bit awkward... i'm still not pro at the song lah.. haha.

this is the best i can do for now. maybe record a better version when i get back home again.

recorded with a crap computer mic. using fender strat and a trace elliot amp.

enjoy.

haha.. i can't even match 1% of tommy. he's got tone even when using a thumbpick.. mine is so dead sounding in comparision.

will try to record a better version soon.

real nice! i like the tone! but got some parts timing slightly off, but then again, great job! will sound better with a singer and drums and bass 8)

nice clean sounds.great work on those chordworks despite some lag on the fingering during chord changes.Overall, good effort! :smt038

I agree wif WAN.......

How bout adding some effects......

Jus a bit of delay or compressor.......jus to make icing on top of a cake....

Good effort.....u can do better........

Cheers....

nice tone, is this a trace acoustic amp? great chordal work too.. well on your way to being a guitarist(i'm assuming, no offence if u're actually a drummer or something..) different from the rest.

but the guitar needs to be tuned! the G-string is too tight. i mean, sharp. :D

No i dun think so (that you suck) from what I heard i would prolly have to do twice as many takes if I wanted to play that cleanly lol. Good job.

thanks for all the comments everyone. greatly appreciated! :D

tany & Wan: I was too nervous after failing 39 takes, so kept thinking about what to play on next parts. That accounts to a lot of the pauses. Gotta practice harder i guess...

Ady: hmm i will consider adding some chorus or delay in. actually it's reverb equipped already and i didn't want to make the sound too muddy.

blahblah & fibredrive: can't sing for nuts... haha. anyone wants to volunteer if i record a decent version?

iansoh: it's an electric guitar amp but has great cleans - as with most of the TE amps... great stuff from them. i'm using a dunlop C4 capo on third fret which sucks because the tension is uneven and hence the guitar sounds weird sometimes. (the simpler capoes would have done the job better...)

personally - i can play decently but i'm still struggling to reach a high notch - playing proficiently without mistakes, ie no more sloppy playing. something i'm working on these days a lot to try and get to a higher level - like SOFTies ShredCow and Chanmin. :D
