well... a couple of things... we know you got chops, you can play. But i feel you sound very normal. The playing is good, but will it stick in ppl's minds?
For example, Malmsteem... shreds like crazy... we don't rememeber every note but we do remember great licks like the intro and starting chorus lick to Far Beyond the Sun.
I think you need to start developing an identity, most importantly. You don't sound like Malmsteem because you didn't use harmonic minor scales but i bet if you did, you would sound like that an be labeled a clone.
Perhaps being able to leave breaks in your soloing? Don't be afraid to let go of the strings for a moment! Or choose unexpected moments to keep silent. For this piece, you played it in 1 breath... all the way. Think of playing in a more phrase oriented manner, something like breathing and aim to make every phrase a hit lick. You are doing an improvisation, so you are free to do that.
Also, note that in the beginning you where playing in a shred-a-run-then-do-something-slow style? Now, your shred runs are good and clean, nice. But when you hit the slow parts, you sounded lost and quite unispired.
Tonewise, in contrast to the first solo's tone, your tone is quite muddy. You using single coils? Perhaps using less gain will help.
