OM: Funky Frenzy backing track - solo

Er..not much gear to speak off la..just the JEM and a dist pedal straight into the mic in of the computer hahaha..super muffled shit !!

The distortion pedal is one 'hand made' dist pedal called tubezone from http://www.miaudio.com/

holy crap.. brett garsed uses that pedal too! must cost an arm or a leg man.

can hear some fusion elements in your playing man...watcha listening to these days? i need some tips ballz

Erm..who's Brett Garsed haha...

That little pedal cost ard 200bucks if I remember..

Actually, Im not listening to any fusion or jazz stuff at the moment...its just anyhow hamtam..many repeated 'wrong' notes = fusion? hahaha

AHHHH!! Okiess..so he played with Nelson brothers..Happenin' rock band with the delicious long hair..songs like Love n Affection & After The Rain...cool..Thanks for the info John..

Hey Daniel,
YesS, delicious hair, happening band!!!
a pity i didn't bring my earphone today, i'll get kicked if i play ur track in my quiet office, i will listen to ur track when im home 2nite. but im sure it rocks.

yo daniel... expensive sound sial you..
the solo is abit too loud.. you need to balance the volume between the track and your take.... phrasing wise ... not bad la..can tell you were going for the ... fusion thing.. abit remind me of shawn lane actually... but with more off notes la.. hhahaha

Nah la..where got expensive sound..if expensive sound I'll be hooking up with amp and Sm57 and blahblah liaos hahaha..

Okies..good pointer noted! Will mess with the mixer in N-tracks to balance the sound more..erm not going for any fusion thingy la..y u all keep saying that hahaa...I just whack only la..must throw in more off notes haha!

you guys should post the backing track somewhere and get other SOFTies to do their version of it. this way, we can see how different players reacts to the music.

dont all play in the same one file like the previous soft jam. each softie should play the whole song by themselve, this way got more chance to build the melody and solo. 8)
